Readiness Assessments
A pre–campaign Readiness Assessment gives church leaders a deep understanding of church members and the church community. Besides measuring the likely levels of financial commitment, a Readiness Assessment identifies support for the church, church leaders and the proposed church capital campaign.
Our Readiness Assessments gather information in two ways:
- Personal interviews conducted by Church Development consultants
- Written or on–line survey of all members to help build community
Our Readiness Assessment services include, among others:
- Researching and analyzing the church's financial history and capacity
- Writing a case statement summarizing the history of the church, long–range plans and rationale for a capital campaign
- Investigating the demographics and growth patterns of the geographic area that the church serves
- Developing a comprehensive survey
- Initiating a volunteer recruitment process
- Conducting personal interviews with an agreed number of church leaders
- Compiling and analyzing all data
- Preparing a report summarizing all findings, providing recommendations and including raw data
- Presenting the report to the church's governing body
- Creating a mailing to all members of the church with the study results
