Stewardship Workshops and On-Site Facilitations
Church Development stewardship workshops are free, on-site workshops tailored to a church’s
specific needs on planning and managing a church capital campaign. We can discuss a range of
topics, from capital stewardship campaign needs and debt retirement to annual giving and long-term
stewardship education.
These workshops are generally two to four hours long, depending on the needs of our audience. We
work with church leadership, building committees, Session Elders, Finance committees and,
sometimes, entire congregations during our workshops. We want to share as much information as
we can with you.
We’ll tailor our workshop information in order to help your church community increase
stewardship, build community in order to prayerfully discern whether a stewardship-based capital
campaign is the next step for your church.
Lunch and Learn Series
We facilitate a Lunch and Learn series for our clients exploring topics such as:
• Long-Range Strategic Planning
• Conducting Successful Annual Campaigns
• Undertaking a Planned Giving Effort
• Navigating the Building Process
• New Member Engagement and Solicitation In A Current Capital Campaign
• Preparing For A Second Campaign
These Lunch and Learn Workshops are facilitated quarterly and allow time for peer-to-peer
discussion, timely research review and ongoing guidance and advice on building a culture of
generosity.
These workshops are generally two hours long with complimentary lunch and beverages provided.
Clients in all stages of a campaign, from initial campaign planning to Celebration Sunday marking
the end of a stewardship campaign, come together to learn more about stewardship.
Planned Giving Workshops
Church Development offers free, on-site Planned Giving Workshops for church communities
looking to learn more about long-term stewardship planning. Not only do we discuss the benefits
of a well-executed planned giving campaign, but we also offer ideas and examples of how each
church community can increase stewardship and build community while stabilizing a church’s
financial future. The workshops are generally two hours long and detail Church Development’s
planned giving program while offering resources for further research and learning.We facilitate a Lunch and Learn series for our clients exploring topics such as:
